Position Overview
The Talent Acquisition Specialist plays a critical role in building high performing teams by identifying, attracting, and hiring top-tier talent across multiple roles and locations. In close partnership with Human Resources and business leaders, this individual executes sourcing strategies, manages requisition pipelines, and drives a seamless candidate experience - all while aligning recruitment efforts with the company's goals and employer branding initiatives.
Essential Functions (Other Duties as Assigned)
Source, recruit, pre-screen, assess, and present high-quality candidates for open positions Proactively build diverse talent pipelines through job boards, ATS, social channels, team member referrals, networking, and creative sourcing strategies Manage a high-volume requisition load while maintaining time to fill and quality of hire metrics Provide regular updates to hiring managers on search status, candidate pipelines, and hiring challenges Compile and distribute key hiring analytics, market data, and sourcing insights to inform hiring strategies Ensure talent acquisition practices reflect and support diversity and inclusion objectives Develop and execute sustainable recruiting campaigns, hiring plans, and employer branding initiatives Conduct candidate experience audits and recommend improvements to drive engagement and retention Represent the organization at job fairs, college recruiting events, and networking functions Maintain accurate documentation and candidate records in ATS and other systems Other duties as assigned Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree in human resources, business, or related field; HR certification preferred Minimum of 2 years of experience in a talent acquisition or HR role with hands-on recruiting responsibilities Working knowledge of sourcing techniques, recruiting metrics, and applicant tracking systems Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong sourcing skills, including experience with LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, CRM tools, and Boolean search strategies High emotional intelligence with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels Excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills Project management and time management skills with ability to balance multiple requisitions simultaneously Experience working with diversity hiring initiatives and inclusive recruiting strategies Familiarity with recruiting systems such as Paycom, Indeed, LinkedIn, Monster, and background check platforms Analytical mindset and problem-solving ability; comfortable using data to drive decision Self-starter with strong interpersonal skills and a team-first mindset Physical Requirements:
Extended periods of sitting: frequently required to stand and walk. Travel requirements are less than 30-40% as business requires.
