with strong electrical and instrumentation (E&I) expertise and solid mechanical skills to
fill a retirement vacancy.
This journey-level role keeps our wastewater treatment and pumping facilities running safely and reliably.
If you’re currently working in manufacturing, refineries, food or beverage processing, pharmaceutical production, chemical plants, or water/wastewater utilities,

Competitive Pay:
$45.57 – $65.45/hour DOQ CalPERS Pension
(Classic members receive 2% @ 55; PEPRA members receive 2% @ 62) Health, Dental & Vision Coverage

Troubleshoot, repair, procure, and maintain electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems at wastewater treatment and pumping facilities. Work on PLCs, VFDs, motors, pumps, telemetry, and process controls. Read and interpret schematics, perform preventive maintenance, and oversee contractor work. Be a part of a skilled team using knowledge and expertise to contribute to a future of responsible public stewardship. What We’re Looking For NapaSan encourages all qualified professionals to apply. The ideal candidate will have:
Strong Electrical & Instrumentation (E&I) expertise – PLCs, VFDs, controls, and process instrumentation. 4+ years of experience maintaining and repairing electrical, instrumentation, and mechanical systems (industrial or utility setting). California Water Environment Association (CWEA) Grade 2 Electrical & Instrumentation Technologist or Grade 2 Mechanical Technologist certification
or equivalent combination of training and experience that demonstrate the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Valid California Class C Driver’s License.
