SPCE offers a range of programs, including youth camps, adult degree completion, professional and workforce development, and lifelong learning, as well as partners with academic units across JMU to support a number of online or off-campus degree and certificate programs. The Adult Degree Program (ADP) seeks a Program Coordinator to help support program management, strategic planning, events, and communications. Duties and Responsibilities: Assist the Director in program coordination and the strategic planning and implementation of assessment measures with a focus on access, retention, and student success. Collaborate with the Office of Admissions, Office of the Registrar, and SPCE Enrollment Specialist to process student admissions applications, including review of documents, processing decisions in Student Administration, and communicating decisions with students. Collaborate with Enrollment Specialist and Academic Advisors to update the departmental website, maintain social media platforms, and support online student community tools. Collaborate with Enrollment Specialist to support incoming student queries by phone, email, and in person, and maintain student records in Salesforce. Coordinate with the Director, Academic Advisors, and Credit Programs Administrator to schedule courses and initiate instructor agreements. Coordinate, plan, and execute ADP student engagement events throughout the year. Qualifications: Required Qualifications: Experience working in higher education, particularly with adult learners Ability to work collaboratively within a team and with campus partners Ability to work independently on complex tasks Experience with office related technology (MS Suite, etc.) Experience with learning management systems, customer relationship management, and student information systems Experience coordinating and managing events in person and virtually Excellent organizational skills Additional Posting Information: Conditions of Employment: Employment is contingent upon the successful completion of a criminal background check.
