Quality Control Inspector 2nd Shift
Direct Hire Location: Merrimack, NH Onsite Pay Rate: $20.00/hour (includes 5% shift differential) Hours: Monday Friday, 3:00 PM 11:00 PM (Overtime paid at 1.5x for hours worked over 40/week) Summary / Objective:
The Quality Control Inspector is responsible for inspecting the quality of in-process, final, and incoming materials, meeting all requirements of a Level 1 Inspector with additional experience and responsibilities. This role involves performing dimensional and visual inspections, maintaining sample collections, documenting results, and supporting training activities for new employees. Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Perform accurate dimensional and visual inspections of products. Collect and accurately document inspection results. Maintain a collection of samples and associated documentation. Inspect incoming, in-process, and final products to ensure compliance with requirements. Evaluate products against specifications and tolerances. Shadow new employees and assist in training activities. Operate programs on Optical Comparator and CMM. Perform other duties as assigned. Experience:
Proficient in the use of calipers, micrometers, height gages, microscopes, and other precision measuring tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings. Prior inspector experience required. Qualifications:
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software. Strong communication skills across all departments. Ability to determine tolerances and specifications from printed documents. Able to lift up to 30 pounds. Strong attention to detail. Ability to follow directions and carry out instructions accurately. Cleanroom experience a plus. ISO and FDA experience a plus. Training Requirements:
Good documentation practices. Use of inspection equipment including CMM and Toolmakers Mic. IQMS functions including MRB, drawings, QMS, transactions, and scanning products to next operation. Visual rejection standards. Calibration procedures. Retains handling and documentation. Company Overview:
