Position Overview
We are seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development/Outbound Caller to join our team on a temporary basis. This role is perfect for someone who enjoys connecting with potential customers, building relationships, and contributing to business growth through proactive outreach efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct outbound calls to prospective customers to generate leads and business opportunities Identify and qualify potential clients interested in custom outdoor structures Present company services and products professionally over the phone Schedule appointments and consultations for the sales team Maintain accurate records of all calls and customer interactions in CRM system Follow up on inquiries and nurture leads through the sales pipeline Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to optimize outreach strategies Meet or exceed daily/weekly call volume and lead generation targets
Required Qualifications
Previous experience in outbound calling, telemarketing, or business development Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Comfortable making cold calls and handling objections Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Proficiency with CRM software and basic computer applications Self-motivated with ability to work independently Professional phone manner and positive attitude
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in construction, home improvement, or outdoor living industries Knowledge of outdoor structures (decks, gazebos, pergolas, etc.) Previous B2B sales experience Familiarity with lead qualification processes
