Role Overview As our Director of Accounts, youll join the senior leadership team to lead staff and manage client relationships with confidence and accountability. Youll serve as the steady leadership presence in our Miami HQ three days per week, work directly with the CEO, and be empowered to make decisions that move campaigns and teams forward. Prior experience in digital marketing and/or politics is valuable, but what matters most is your ability to lead, build trust, coach, and have the hard conversations that protect quality and performance. Key Responsibilities Leadership & Team Development Lead and mentor account managers, creatives, and coordinators, setting clear expectations, ensuring accountability, and elevating morale. Coach team members for growth; address performance issues promptly and constructively. Establish scalable processes that drive clarity, ownership, and consistent delivery. Serve as day-to-day lead for major clients, providing strategic guidance and strengthening relationships. Navigate high-pressure conversations with confidence; align stakeholders on goals, timelines, and outcomes. Build and maintain trust through proactive communication and reliable follow-through. Operations & Execution Across Channels Oversee strategy and execution across social, email, SMS, paid media, and websites. Delegate effectively while stepping in when needed to protect quality and momentum. Anticipate and resolve roadblocks that impact scope, budget, or deadlines. Strategy, Planning & Problem Solving Translate objectives into actionable plans with measurable milestones. Identify risks early; make decisive calls that keep campaigns on track. Maintain high standards for creative, messaging, and performance across portfolios. Executive Alignment & Communication Maintain strong, regular communication with the CEO, driving alignment, surfacing risks, and proposing solutions. Provide crisp reporting on team performance, client health, and operational priorities. Model calm, steady leadership in the office and foster a culture of excellence. Continuously refine workflows, feedback loops, and practices that improve speed and quality. Qualifications & Skills Proven track record as a strong leader and team manager. 3+ years managing staff in a fast-paced environment (agency or political setting a plus). Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills. Confident in client-facing situations, including high-pressure conversations. Highly organized, decisive, and able to manage multiple priorities. Must be able to commute to our Miami headquarters three days per week. Bachelors degree or equivalent experience. Soft Skills Active listening and adaptability.
