DescriptionAbout UsWe are a growing family law boutique firm seeking to expand our intake and sales team and are seeking an empathetic, detail-oriented, and sales-minded individual to serve as the closer for prospective clients.This is a high-impact, client-facing role that directly influences our firm's growth and reputation.Key ResponsibilitiesLead Engagement: Respond to inbound leads by phone, email, or web within a timely manner; act as a welcoming, professional point of contact.Client Qualification: Conduct intake calls to assess legal needs, determine case eligibility, and guide clients through next steps.Sales-Conscious Intake: Explain services, pricing, and consultation process confidently and with empathy.Appointment Scheduling: Coordinate and perform consultations; organize meetings and check-ins with lawyers and ensure thorough documentation in client intake systems.Pipeline Management: Maintain up-to-date records in the CRM, ensure follow-ups are timely, and monitor lead progression.Performance Reporting: Track and report on lead conversion metrics; identify gaps, trends, and opportunities for improving intake outcomes. Automate portions of workflow.Collaborative Support: Work with lawyers, marketing, and operations to improve intake strategies and refine client conversion processes.Referral Program: Develop and grow referral program from professionals in legal, counselling/therapy, and former and current clients, etc.Responsibilities•Proven track record in qualifying and converting profitable leads, including handling intake in a sales or customer experience role. Experience with law firms is an asset.•Empathetic nature and highly emotionally intelligent to ensure potential clients feel heard.•Strong networking and relationship-building abilities; comfortable meeting diverse people.•Highly organized, detail-oriented, self-motivated, and target-driven.•Tech-savvy with familiarity in CRM tools, MS Office suite; Google Suite; experience with legal intake software (preferably Smokeball) is an asset. Ability to see potential in software to optimize processes and automate results.•Comfortable managing high-volume outreach, including cold calling and warm lead follow-up.•Must reside in Illinois with the ability to work in the office in Chicago on occasion but the role is mostly remote.•Supervise new client onboarding and current client files through data entry and paperwork collection to ensure our cases are managed efficiently•Work with marketing to collaborate on outbound sales tactics and partnerships with other law firms in order to help bring in new cases•Manage attorney schedules, including prospective client consultations, to foster caseload growth•Survey potential clients to determine the right fit with our practice, while listening to all phone calls in an empathetic manner•Perform miscellaneous clerical tasks as needed, including transcription, research, spreadsheet management, and email writing to ensure operational efficiencyQualifications•High school diploma or GED is a requirement; Bachelor's degree is a plus•Solid data entry, spreadsheet management, and computer skills•Background in the legal industry preferred•Possesses outstanding communication skills and sense of empathy•Sales or customer service experience highly valued
