Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced and driven Territory Managers to manage agent relationships, boost business growth, and ensure excellent service. This role requires regular travel within the respective territory, with occasional overnight stays. Youll play a critical role in strengthening partnerships with agents and expanding our presence in the state. Key Responsibilities: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with independent agents within the designated territory. Understand agent and customer needs, offering tailored solutions and responsive support. Drive new business acquisition and policy retention through proactive sales efforts. Identify and appoint new agents to expand our network. Manage agents to ensure they align with our culture and meet our performance standards. Collaborate closely with internal teams, including actuarial, underwriting, and claims, to identify opportunities. Utilize CRM tools (e.g., Zoho) to manage agent interactions and track sales performance. Analyze market trends and performance data using Excel and Power BI to identify growth opportunities. Provide training and workshops to enhance agents product knowledge and sales capabilities. Represent Commonwealth Insurance at industry events, building brand awareness and expanding our market presence. Qualifications: Must be local and live in the territory. Must have a valid drivers license and clean driving record. Active Property and Casualty license preferred but not required. Proven experience as a Territory Manager or in a similar role, preferably within personal lines insurance. Strong track record of building and maintaining relationships with clients. Strong sales, communication, and negotiation skills. Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Zoho) and data analysis software (Excel, Power BI). Ability to analyze market data, identify opportunities, and contribute to strategic initiatives. Self-motivated and results-driven, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team. Territory is in the Houston area Seniority level
