Indrotec is seeking a Maintenance Mechanic to support our client, CHS Inc., at their Lubricants Facility in Inver Grove Heights, MN. CHS is a leading global agribusiness owned by farmers, ranchers, and cooperatives across the United States, providing grain, food, and energy resources to businesses and consumers around the world.
Position Summary
As a Maintenance Mechanic, you will be responsible for performing skilled mechanical maintenance and repair work on a wide range of industrial equipment used in the production and packaging of lubricants. This includes troubleshooting, diagnosing, and repairing equipment to ensure safe, efficient, and continuous plant operations.
Shift: 3:00 PM - 11:00 PM (2nd shift) Pay: $33.35 per hour (union scale, based on CBA) Key Responsibilities
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical and electrical issues on plant equipment. Perform preventive maintenance on machinery, forklifts, and material handling equipment. Maintain tools, storage, and work areas in a clean and orderly manner. Manage contractors and request quotations for capital projects. Participate in plant spill team (Hazwoper training provided). Support safe plant operations while working independently with minimal supervision. Minimum Qualifications
1+ years of maintenance experience High School Diploma or GED Ability to work 2nd shift and Saturdays as needed Availability for emergency on-call coverage after hours and weekends Preferred Qualifications
3+ years' experience in plant machinery repair and preventive maintenance Boiler's license (or ability to obtain) Experience with pneumatics, hydraulics, mechanical and electrical controls, PLCs, and robotics Knowledge of plumbing, steam fitting, and welding
Benefits: Health care insurance benefits available first of the month following 60 days of employment. Thirty (30) hours worked per week must be averaged in order to maintain coverage. 401k enrollment is available per the Secure Act guidelines.
