Job DescriptionA leading company specializing in chemical systems is seeking an Account Manager to grow its customer base and deliver tailored solutions to oil and gas producers. The ideal candidate is a driven, technically savvy sales professional with a strong understanding of field operations and a passion for customer success. By leveraging strong communication, the new team member will expand market share by cultivating strategic relationships while promoting high-value, performance-driven solutions. Salary + Additional Benefits: $90,000-$120,000 Quarterly Bonus Medical Insurance Dental Insurance 401K - company match Location: San Antonio, TX AND Midland, TX Type of Position: Direct Hire Responsibilities: Territory and Account Management: Identify, target, and gain new business with oil & gas producers and service companies in the South Texas Eagle Ford region. Maintain regular contact with key accounts. Follow up on requirements, quotes, installations and resole issues as they arise. Proactively mitigate customer concerns and ensure continued satisfaction throughout the post-sale process. Customer Development: Build relationships with field operations, production engineers, procurement, and facility managers. Understand their operational challenges and align solutions accordingly. Collaborate with internal teams as needed to ensure solutions meet customer expectations. Solution Selling: Represent chemical injection solutions to both new and existing customers. Be a trusted advisor and provide technically sound recommendations based on application and performance needs. Perform site visits, gather application data, and collaborate with internal engineering teams to scope the requirements. Sales Strategy Execution: Meet or exceed assigned sales targets and KPIs. Maintain a robust customer base and report activity through CRM tools. Coordinate with leadership on market feedback and competitive intelligence. Prepare and deliver presentations and proposals to customers in a professional and consultative manner. Requirements: Preferred to have 5+ years of proven outside sales experience, preferably in oil & gas or industrial solutions Prior experience with chemical injection equipment or field instrumentation is a strong asset Understanding of production operations, field instrumentation, and chemical injection processes. Knowledge of oilfield chemicals and/or pump systems is a plus, but not required Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with the production side of the O&G market in the Delaware Basin (Southeast New Mexico) Mechanically inclined with the ability to understand and explain technical systems Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with a customer-centric approach Self-starter, highly organized, and able to manage time effectively and independently Proven ability to adapt and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment Due to the high volume of applications we typically receive, we regret that we are not able to personally respond to all applications.
