POSITION DETAILS
Position Summary
The Quality System Manager shall support the business in the areas of Quality System Management. This includes, ISO 9001 and AS9100, Nadcap accreditations, FAA Repair Station and EASA Certifications, DCMA, and other customer/industry specific quality system requirements.
The Quality System Manager will be expected to be very knowledgeable and highly experienced in quality system processes including internal auditing, corrective and preventive actions, data and document control, stamp control, record retention, control of non-conforming product, training systems, calibration systems, and procedure writing. The Quality System Manager will also be familiar with the processes and documentations for the FAA Repair Station, EASA, and Maintenance, Repair, and Overhaul (MRO).
The Quality System Manager primarily interfaces with customers, suppliers, customers' Auditors and Quality Representatives, Regulatory Agency Auditors, as well as with personnel from Sales/Contracts, Customer Service, Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Operations, Quality Assurance, FAA Repair Station, and MRO.
Principal Activities Represent the organization as the ISO 9001 and AS9100 Management Representative, the Oasis database administrator, and manage all aspects of onsite audits. Manage all onsite Nadcap audits and host the Auditors. Manage the internal audit program as the Quality System Lead Auditor. Manage the corrective and preventive action system for internal and external/customers' Corrective Action Requests (CAR). Mange the document and data control process including revising existing or authoring new procedures and forms. Provide training and technical leadership to problem solving teams to drive root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action plans. Manage stamp control process. Manage the record retention process. Manage the calibration process. Provide daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and yearly quality metrics, reports, and charts. Prepare Management Review presentations. Provide data analysis reports to management. Perform other job-related duties as assigned by management. CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Strong business/technical writing, presentation, planning, problem solving, organizational, project management and decision-making skills. Knowledge of Nadcap, ISO 9001, and AS9100 requirements. Familiar with FAA (FAR 21 and FAR 145) production and Repair Station requirements. Excellent problem solving skills aimed at identifying and correcting the root causes of problems. Demonstrated working knowledge of problem solving tools such as 5-Whys, Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA), 8-D, Pareto analysis, and Ishikawa diagrams. Thorough knowledge of Word, Excel, Power Point, Visio, Project, and other applicable tools. Six sigma tools and methodology training is a plus. Lean manufacturing experience to improve product/process quality is a plus. Education & Experience
Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering or equivalent technical field. Masters of Science in Engineering or equivalent technical field is a plus. 5+ years of related quality leadership experience with cross functional teams, direct reports and talent development.
5+ years of progressive Quality Systems experience in an aerospace manufacturing environment. Experience with lean manufacturing in a high mix and low volume environment is a plus. Experience with flight critical components/systems (or product line with equivalent criticality) is a plus.
PAY RANGE : $150,000.00 -$170,000.00 base salary. Pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.
