Seasonal Trainers will present and facilitate the training curriculum for new hire and returning Corporate Sales and DEA associates. Primary responsibilities include facilitating training in one of the following areas: Corporate Sales Support, Data Entry. Additional responsibilities include managing the overall classroom environment, coaching, providing feedback and evaluating participants. Will also staff the Assist and Supervisor line to help associates with questions and answer escalated customer calls.
Facilitate classroom learning through actively instructing associates, obtaining cooperation, instilling confidence, and inspiring excellence. Communicate effectively with Leadership and Management to ensure timely resolution and communication of classroom issues. Review contents of material before delivery to ensure confidence and ability to deliver the program as outlined. Assist in the selection process of new associates by using classroom observation and test data to make informed decisions regarding their ability to complete the course successfully. Send emailed invitations to training meetings and distribute electronic materials to trainees. Assist with remote log-in procedures for trainees. Record attendance and graduation in Scheduling Suite. Evaluate participants' progress and give constructive feedback in a timely manner. Have all participants complete the Course Evaluation at the end of each day and utilize feedback from daily course evaluations and Training management to adjust teaching style. Smoothly manage several computer programs on multiple screens while screensharing and also speaking and/or reading to trainees. Must be able to work 40 hours per week with the probability of overtime during the peak holiday season and be flexible to work weekends and evenings. Education and Experience:
1 or more seasons of experience in a Harry & David Corporate Sales and/or DEA role. High School Diploma or equivalent. 1 or more years of experience in a similar role or level of responsibility. Detail oriented with a strong emphasis on accuracy. Excellent organizational and communication skills (written, verbal and interpersonal) for effective interaction with all levels of company personnel and external customers. Must have demonstrated the ability to lead by example and handle confidential information with discretion. Ability to participate in a team-oriented environment. Prior experience and demonstrated success in a similar team coaching, teaching or service-oriented environment. Minimum System requirements
