Business Development Manager Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Business Development Manager - Data Centers to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying, pursuing, and nurturing new business opportunities across multiple industry verticals, with a primary focus on data centers. You will lead business development efforts, build strong relationships with key decision-makers, and execute a strategic plan to expand market share.

Business Development Manager Responsibilities: Research growth markets, define business requirements, and execute a strategic plan to expand market share Develop and execute a multi-faceted sales plan, with direct outreach to prospective clients Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers across customer organizations Partner with marketing to develop targeted go-to-market strategies, campaigns, and events Identify customer challenges and align solutions to meet short- and long-term needs Participate in a collaborative sales process with peers and internal teams to move prospects through the pipeline Develop and negotiate competitive pricing strategies Track and manage all opportunities in CRM software to ensure visibility and timely follow-up Establish networking relationships with customers, industry associations, and business partners Provide technical presentations and training to diverse audiences Monitor industry trends and represent the company at trade shows, sales meetings, and professional events Define sales potential, prepare budgets, and complete required reporting Collaborate with leadership on business development goals and strategies Business Development Manager Position Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in business or a related field, or equivalent work experience Minimum of 3 years' experience in B2B sales, technical, or project-based sales Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 60% Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) Strong communication, presentation, analytical, and organizational skills Experience leading complex sales processes involving multiple stakeholders Proficient in negotiation, value-added selling, and time/travel management Prior involvement with industry associations or non-profit groups preferred Ability to work independently as well as in a team environment #LI-Onsite
