Direct Hire - Maintenance Technicians
Location: Carey, OH
Starting Pay: $38.52/hr
Shift Differential: $1/hr for 2nd and 3rd shifts
Job Description:
Join a proactive maintenance team responsible for keeping SMP press lines running smoothly. You'll perform hands-on troubleshooting and repairs across hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems, working alongside a team of experienced technicians.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems
Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues (up to 12V-408V)
Respond to breakdowns via CMMS work orders
Follow preventive maintenance schedules
Monitor equipment performance
Perform basic welding (MIG, TIG, Arc)
Read and interpret electrical and hydraulic schematics
Conduct fabrication tasks (machining, rigging, iron work, mill, drill press)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
6+ years of industrial maintenance experience or Less years with a Journeyman card
Strong knowledge of hydraulics, pneumatics, and electrical knowledge
Ability to read schematics and understand inputs/outputs
Strong mechanical aptitude
Welding and fabrication experience
