Title: Maintenance Technician | 1st, 2nd or 3rd Shift
Location: Schaumburg, IL
Hire Type: Contract to Direct
Pay Rate: $28-$35/hr in addition to shift differential.

Job Summary: Are you a hands-on problem solver with a background in manufacturing maintenance? We're hiring Maintenance Technicians to support 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shift operations at our growing customers facility. If you're skilled in troubleshooting high-speed equipment and looking for a long-term career opportunity with growth potential, we want to meet you! Job Duties:
Troubleshoot and repair high-speed manufacturing equipment, including conveyors, pumps, valves, case formers, labelers, fillers, and more. Work with hydraulic and pneumatic systems, performing repairs and replacements as needed. Diagnose issues with PLC systems, sensors, photo eyes, and control wiring. Perform preventive and predictive maintenance to minimize downtime and maximize equipment efficiency. Use welding (MIG, TIG, stainless steel) and fabrication skills to maintain and improve plant equipment. Collaborate with Production, Engineering, and Quality teams to ensure safe and effective operations. Analyze equipment failures and contribute to root cause analysis and continuous improvement efforts. Assist in planning for major repairs, replacements, and capital projects to support long-term operational goals. Qualifications:
2+ years of experience in industrial or manufacturing maintenance. Strong mechanical aptitude with working knowledge of electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. Hands-on experience with PLCs, sensors, limit switches, and control systems. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and use diagnostic tools and shop equipment. Welding and fabrication experience (preferred). Food manufacturing experience (a plus but not required). Willingness to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
