Job Purpose/Description
The Stender School of Leadership, Business & Professional Studies is seeking a student to assist in creating and implementing social media marketing strategies and tactics to promote the school's brand, mission, and vision. This is a wonderful opportunity to learn valuable work skills and explore a possible career path under the guidance and mentorship of College faculty and staff.
Job Duties Manage social media calendar and channels including Facebook, Instagram and LinkedIn. Help develop and perform research to determine appropriate marketing strategies Write and post content, create graphics, or use photos. Increase the number of followers, subscribers, and likes on all social media platforms. Monitor analytics to identify viable ideas for audience needs. Attend on-campus Stender School events to capture engaging social media content. Collaborate with constituents across the college to determine social media outlook and needs. Partner with staff/faculty from the School to collect and publish stories on the social media platforms. Required Qualifications
Must be a current or incoming CSS student Federal work study eligibility is required (international students exempt) The ability to set goals and provide follow-through and delivery Proficient in computer skills needed for managing multiple platforms Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills Strong writing skills and a strong passion for writing Knowledge of social media platforms Ability to effectively collaborate with other team members Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to take direction as well as take initiative Creative, collaborative and flexible mindset Preferred Qualifications
Majoring in a related field at The College of St. Scholastica Video development skills Digital and graphic image skills Special Instructions to Applicants
