Position Overview
The onsite Property Manager must be dedicated and experienced to oversee the daily operations of a residential property. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in property management, including experience with HUD (Housing and Urban Development) and LITCH (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit). This role requires a detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills.
Responsibilities Of The Property Manager
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the property, ensuring it is well-maintained and running efficiently. Manage tenant relations, including addressing concerns and resolving issues promptly. Ensure compliance with HUD and LITCH regulations and requirements. Coordinate maintenance and repairs, ensuring timely resolution of issues. Handle lease renewals and manage tenant move-ins and move-outs. Maintain accurate records and prepare regular reports on property status. Work closely with the real estate team to achieve property goals and objectives.
Required Experience/Skills for the Property Manager:
3 - 5 years of property management experience. Extensive knowledge of HUD and LITCH programs and compliance. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Preferred Experience/Skills for the Property Manager:
5+ years of property management experience. Experience managing affordable housing properties. Certification in property management (e.g., CPM, ARM or CAM).
Education Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in business administration, real estate, or related field preferred.
