Job Description Duties: - Work in the Dallas office, but handle litigation in multiple counties - Litigate cases in court, including drafting pleadings, motions, and briefs - Conduct legal research and analysis to support case strategies - Negotiate settlements and agreements on behalf of clients - Represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings - Attend depositions, hearings, and trials draft questions for depositions defend clients in depositions prepare arguments for hearings, pre-trial matters draft questions for trial witnesses draft pre-trial documents serve as first or second chair in trial - Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and other parties involved in the case - Provide legal advice and guidance to clients Qualifications: - Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school - Admission to the Texas State Bar Association for more than 2 years - Strong written and verbal communication skills - Excellent research and analytical abilities - Ability to work independently and as part of a team manage daily tasks related to a litigation docket manage and oversee a litigation calendar - Attention to detail and strong organizational skills - Prior experience in litigation and negotiation is preferred This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated attorney to join our team.
