Sales Account Executive Auction Buy Team

Location: New York, NY Position Type: Full-Time Reports to: Sales Manager Rapaport is seeking a results-driven Sales Account Executive to lead buyer acquisition and drive revenue for our global diamond auctions. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on generating leads, closing deals, and building lasting relationships with clients in the diamond and jewelry industry. As a key player on the Auction Buy Team, you'll be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, onboarding qualified buyers, and ensuring they have a seamless auction experience from registration to purchase. Key Responsibilities: Proactively research, contact, and onboard qualified auction buyers in the diamond and jewelry industry Own the full sales cycle, from cold outreach to closing, for new buyer accounts Consistently call and engage Melee and Single Stone buyers ahead of each monthly auction Identify new market segments and develop targeted outreach strategies Maintain accurate lead and opportunity tracking in Salesforce Build and maintain strong relationships with buyers to increase repeat business and maximize auction participation Qualifications: 2+ years of experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management (experience in jewelry, auctions, or luxury sales a plus) Proven ability to generate and close leads Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP, etc.) Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM systems Energetic, self-motivated, and goal-oriented with a hunter mindset Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
