The CDL Laborer will participate in a variety of construction projects and follow construction plans and instructions from the site Foreman and SupervisorNo experience necessary; CDL license required. This position requires the CDL Laborer to work well as part of a team, enjoy working outdoors, and be able to perform strenuous physical tasks lifting up to 50 LBS. On the job training provided, with great benefits!Visit our website (www.tdicable.com) for more detail on the position - a general overview of the position is provided below.RequirementsLaborer Responsibilities:Preparing construction sites, materials, and toolsLoading and unloading of materials, tools, and equipmentRemoving debris/garbage and conduct restoration at work sitesAssembling and breaking down barricades and temporary structuresUpon qualifying for a DOT Medical Card, assist and operate combinations of commercial vehicles and trailers over 10,000 LBSAdditionally, if operating commercial vehicle and trailer combinations over 26,000 LBS, drivers are required to have and maintain a Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a tanker endorsement, per FMCSA/DOT guidelinesRegulating traffic and erecting traffic signs per MUTCD guidelinesFollowing all health and OSHA 1926 Construction Safety standards and regulationsDigging potholes, trenching, and other underground excavation workRequirements:No formal qualification is required, although a High School diploma may be preferredDriver's license and CDL requiredSimilar work experience may be beneficialWillingness to undertake training when necessaryBe able to work in a team setting as part of a construction crewBe able to work outdoors and have good physical staminaJob Type: Full-timePay: $25 - $27.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 - 70 per weekSalary Description $25- $27 per hour depending on experience
