Aurora has developed a market-leading suites of services which provide analytics and insights to players across the North American power markets - helping to shine a light on development across the power market and industry. Our services comprise Power and Renewable Market Services for the major North American power markets, plus dedicated services for Distributed and Flexible Energy. Together, these provide insights on the development of power markets and implications for a range of power assets, as well as for policy and strategy across North America.As an Account Manager, you'll drive sales and manage accounts for our energy market subscription and software services. We're looking for someone with a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a passion for Account Management. You'll play a crucial role in client interactions and contribute to our growth in a dynamic, collaborative environment with opportunities for progression and innovationKey ResponsibilitiesOnboard customers to our services and strategically map out accounts to identify future opportunitiesTrack and improve engagement metrics to enhance client interactions and satisfaction, leveraging growth and developing strategies to enhance account value through cross-selling Aurora's full-service portfolioAchieve and exceed net retention targets by fostering growth and addressing client needs effectivelyDevelop a deep understanding of several strategically important accounts by building strong relationships across multiple touchpointsMaintain regular contact with key stakeholders, identify opportunities for growth, and proactively nurture new connections within the organization to enhance collaboration and drive long-term valueDrive account value growth by cross-selling and up-selling services and products globally to existing clientsConduct sales demonstrations for our analytics servicesProvide exemplary customer service, ensuring that deliverables are met and seeking opportunities to maximize engagement at a senior levelProcess and support advisory opportunitiesLead complex negotiations involving multiple stakeholders, ensuring alignment on objectives, managing differing interests, and guiding discussions to secure mutually beneficial agreementsSupport clients by providing invoicing assistanceMaintain an opportunity pipeline using Salesforce CRM to track and report on opportunities and ongoing account plansGuide new clients through the onboarding process, ensuring a smooth transition and setupEnsure effective delivery of services (e.g. workshops, group meetings) to clients, maintaining high standards and satisfactionAssist with invoicing processes to ensure timely and accurate billingIdentify opportunities for up-selling additional services and products to existing clientsProactively engage with clients, especially those with low usage metrics specifically pertaining to software servicesDevelop and maintain strong relationships with key clients, addressing their needs and enhancing their experience with our servicesWhat we are looking forRequired attributes:2-3 years of technical or subscription account management experienceDemonstrated commercial acumen with a creative and intuitive approach to identifying impactful opportunitiesProven track record of managing a portfolioCalm and adaptable in high-pressure and uncertain situationsHighly organized, persistent, and diligentProactive and versatile in adapting to an evolving and fast-moving industryAbility to communicate and collaborate effectively with senior stakeholdersStrong commercial mindset with a proven track record in sales and account managementExcellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skillsProven success in team-oriented environmentsPassionate and curious about the energy transitionDesirable attributes:Account management, and client relationship experience in energy related industry, subscription sales Account Management and Customer successExperience with Salesforce or other CRM systemsPrevious professional exposure to energy economics, power markets and power networksWe strongly encourage women and candidates from diverse backgrounds to apply.
