What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Scope, design, and build scalable, resilient distributed systems - Develop and implement enterprise data governance solutions - Engage in cross-functional collaboration throughout the entire software lifecycle - Mentor other engineers and elevate the quality of engineering through design sessions and code reviews - Define and support reusable application components from both business and technology perspectives
What is Required (Qualifications): - Experience in architecture and design of new and current systems - Proficiency in Python and Typescript/JavaScript, with experience in Java/Kotlin, Golang, React or Angular - Experience in backend development, including micro-services and RESTful APIs - Familiarity with container orchestration services such as Docker and Kubernetes - Strong problem-solving abilities and adaptability in a fast-paced environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - Experience with open-source applications and data governance solutions - Familiarity with load testing tools and data observability tools - Advanced shell scripting skills - Knowledge of modern software development tools and CI/CD tooling - Experience working with various operating systems like Linux and Windows
