The Mt. Lebanon School District is seeking energetic and motivated individuals to join its
Substitute Custodial Pool .
Substitute custodians provide janitorial and light maintenance duties on a per diem basis in the buildings and grounds of the District's 10 school buildings. Shifts vary, with a primary need Monday through Friday between 2:30 PM until 11:00 PM. Start times are flexible. Opportunities available daily, and advanced scheduling utilized frequently. Wages: $15.00 per hour
The ideal candidates are detail oriented and flexible. Training is provided, and individuals must be able to follow directions and perform physical duties in excess of those required for medium work. Typical Tasks: Perform cleaning of specified areas as assigned on a nightly basis, including sanitizing spaces and trash removal. Assigned areas include classrooms, restrooms, locker rooms, offices, conference rooms, hallways, stairwells, cafeterias and/or gymnasiums. Light outdoor work may be required to ensure a safe and clean appearance of buildings and grounds. Additional duties may be assigned by Head Custodians or the Facilities Management Team. ADDITIONAL EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENTS In order to be eligible for employment in Pennsylvania public schools, the following clearances, trainings, and forms are required upon hire:
Pennsylvania Child Abuse History Clearance (Act 151) Pennsylvania State Police Criminal Record Check (Act 34) FBI Federal Criminal History Record (Act 114) Child/Student Abuse Recognition and Reporting (Act 126) Arrest or Conviction Form PDE 6004 (Act 24) School Personnel Health Record (Physical with a TB Test) Sexual Misconduct/Abuse Disclosure Information (Act 168)
