The Non Union Janitor at Nissan Decherd plays a crucial role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for both employees and customers within the Consumer Support Services industry. Minimum Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in janitorial or custodial work preferred but not required. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods. Basic understanding of cleaning chemicals and supplies, with a commitment to following safety guidelines. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a consumer support or automotive service environment. Familiarity with industrial cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers and buffers. Certification in workplace safety or hazardous materials handling. Strong communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and supervisors. Demonstrated ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Responsibilities:
Perform daily cleaning duties such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, and sanitizing floors, surfaces, and fixtures throughout the facility. Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in restrooms by replenishing supplies, cleaning toilets, sinks, and mirrors, and ensuring proper sanitation. Empty trash receptacles regularly and dispose of waste in accordance with company policies and environmental regulations. Report any maintenance or safety issues observed during cleaning tasks to the appropriate personnel for timely resolution. Assist with setting up and breaking down furniture or equipment for meetings or special events as needed.
