Responsibilities:
Maintain and improve mission-critical data center infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime
Install, configure, and troubleshoot servers, network devices, structured cabling, power and cooling systems
Lead planning and execution of new hardware deployments—including rack layout, power budgets, and cabling
Perform diagnostics and break/fix on server and networking hardware
Configure Linux servers and network devices (CLI, ZTP, basic scripting)
Maintain detailed documentation, asset inventory, and capacity plans
Manage relationships with colocation providers and hardware vendors
Oversee contractors and logistics (shipping/receiving, installations)
Participate in global infrastructure projects and occasional travel to other sites
Required Skills/Qualifications:
3+ years of data center experience in a mission-critical environment
Strong knowledge of data center infrastructure—power, cooling (including liquid), cabling, and safety systems
Expert-level skills in structured cabling and hardware installation
Experience with Cisco and Arista hardware and CLI configuration
Proficiency in Linux command line and basic scripting (Python a plus)
Familiarity with networking topologies and data center architectures
Strong documentation, organizational, and communication skills
Able to lift 50 lbs, work at heights, and respond to physical demands of the role
Willingness to work evenings/weekends when necessary and travel to other sites
Desired Skills/Qualification:
Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
Experience in high-frequency trading, low-latency environments, or high-performance computing
Python or automation scripting experience
A perfectionist’s eye for detail and infrastructure standards
