Responsibilities: Take technical ownership of major infrastructure initiatives, especially around compute, storage, and HPC environments Drive end-to-end planning, deployment, and optimization of critical systems Troubleshoot, tune, and enhance network infrastructure (InfiniBand, Ethernet, and more) Use automation, scripting, and DevOps practices to streamline deployment, monitoring, and troubleshooting Collaborate across global teams to solve complex technical challenges Interface with top-tier vendors to resolve technical issues and improve performance Apply rigorous standards in documentation, configuration, and planning for data center operations (space, power, cabling) Required Skills/Qualifications: Experience leading infrastructure initiatives in a high-stakes environment Strong Linux skills – command-line troubleshooting, scripting (Python ideal) Understanding of networking technologies and protocols (CCNA or equivalent experience preferred) Hands-on experience with configuration management tools (e.g., Puppet) Excellent communication skills – able to support and collaborate with global engineering teams Demonstrated strategic thinking and the ability to execute under pressure Experience with vendor troubleshooting, project coordination, and datacenter planning Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or related field preferred Reliable, dependable availability—including the flexibility to handle critical incidents when needed Nice to Have: Experience working in financial services, high-frequency trading, or HPC environments Deep understanding of performance optimization in low-latency systems Prior experience in a DevOps-focused infrastructure engineering role Benefits: Unmatched compensation for top engineering talent Global-scale projects supporting low-latency trading and HPC workloads Freedom to innovate with full ownership of key infrastructure initiatives Access to next-gen tech – InfiniBand, high-throughput storage, advanced network fabrics Collaborative elite culture – engineers, researchers, and quants solving hard problems together Salary: Significantly above market rate
