Title : Physical Therapist Assistant

Compensation Pay Range:$63000-$80000/Yrs
Description Provide rehabilitative care under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist. Assist with the implementation of treatment plans and patient evaluations. Document patient progress and educate patients and families on exercises. Maintain the therapy area and assist with administrative tasks.
Key Responsibilities Implement treatment plans including exercises, stretches, and functional activities. Observe and report patients' responses and progress to the Physical Therapist. Maintain accurate records of treatments and progress as directed. Instruct patients and families on home care exercises and techniques. Assist in maintaining a safe and clean therapy environment. Collaborate with healthcare professionals for coordinated patient care. Assist with scheduling and maintaining patient records.
Qualifications Ability to assist patients with exercises, transfers, and ambulation. Effective communication skills with patients, families, and healthcare professionals. Manual therapy skills for exercises, stretches, and massage techniques. Knowledge of therapeutic equipment and patient instruction. Problem-solving skills to adapt treatment plans as needed. Compliance with all relevant regulations and facility policies.
