Description Assess patients in either inpatient or outpatient environments and formulate personalized treatment plans Implement physical therapy techniques aimed at enhancing mobility, strength, balance, and functional outcomes Work closely with nursing staff, physicians, case managers, and other rehab specialists to maximize patient outcomes Provide education to patients and their families regarding therapeutic goals, discharge planning, and home exercise protocols Document all evaluations, treatments, and progress in compliance with facility guidelines and regulations Engage in team rounds and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive care coordination Education
Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or equivalent degree from a recognized institution Certifications
Current state licensure as a
Doctor of Physical Therapy Preferred CPR certification Specialized certifications (such as neurological or geriatric) are advantageous but not mandatory Skills
Previous experience is highly preferred Ability to manage complex medical and mobility challenges Exceptional communication and collaborative skills Familiar with digital record-keeping and clinical documentation systems Benefits
