- over 40 years of experience serving early intervention programs across Philadelphia Responsibilities include:
Assessment of fine motor skills, sensory processing, and overall functional abilities in
preschool-aged children (ages 3-5) Development of individualized intervention
plans
to promote independence and address developmental delays Implementation of therapy activities
targeting barriers to participation in daily routines and play Environmental modifications to support children's success in
natural environments
(home, daycare, preschool and EI classrooms) Parent/Caregiver education to empower families with strategies that encourage developmental progress Session documentation and progress monitoring t o ensure interventions are effective and goals are being met Collaboration with all team members, including parents, teachers, and related service providers What You Can Expect in This Role:
Paid travel and report writing for guaranteed hours positions Services based on Individual Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with a multidisciplinary team Flexibility in both scheduling and location! Easy access to materials, assessments, and protocols Support from directors and mentors with backgrounds in the early intervention field Qualifications:
Valid state license to practice occupational therapy Graduate degree (Master's or higher) in occupational therapy from an accredited program Access to personal transportation is a plus Benefits:
