Also, the Occupational Therapist will establish and administer a treatment program with specific goals determined according to the patient’s capacity and tolerance under the direction of the Physician. As well, the Occupational Therapist must set realistic and achievable goals for their patients, document and record the patient’s condition and educate patients and families in an appropriate speech therapy method. The OT works collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team including SLPs, PTs, and teachers. COTA supervision will be necessary.Qualifications and SkillsDegree from an accredited school programCurrent Virginia license and registration as a Occupational Therapist or proactively in the process of the application process for current state licensure as a Occupational Therapist.Current CPR certificationValid driver's licenseExperience in pediatric occupational therapy (preferred, not required)Supervisory experience (preferred, not required)New graduates will be consideredCompensation details: 72000-75500 Yearly SalaryPI7d5ea4b2a1b4-35196-38667025
