LAPRC
The Staff Nurse/Sonographer utilizes a systematic approach to nursing by incorporating assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation in the practice of nursing. Responsibilities include supporting the Nurse Manager in managing center functions and medical services, providing nursing care, overseeing the development of staff nurses and volunteers, and building and maintaining relationships with the community, Health Department, school nurses, and other appropriate medical facilities. A current registered nursing license in the state of Illinois is required. This position is between 16-24 hours per week. For more information find the job description below.
Living Alternatives will provide ultrasound training for the hired Staff Nurse/Sonographer in order to equip them with the limited ultrasound scanning skills needed. This skill is not easily picked up by every medical professional, but we are willing to explore this possibility with you before a hiring decision is made.
