Job Responsibilities Develop Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' individual needs and craft personalized therapy strategies to support them in reaching their functional objectives. Collaborate with Healthcare Teams: Work hand-in-hand with OTs, PTs, STs, medical staff, and nurses to ensure comprehensive and holistic care is provided. Educate Patients and Family Members: Provide thorough instruction to patients and caregivers on therapy methods to facilitate sustained progress post-treatment. Track and Document Progress: Monitor clinical outcomes, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to keep patients on their path to success. Education Requirements
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged and supported. Certifications Needed
Current license as an
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) . NBCOT
(National Board for Certification in Occupational Therapy) certification is mandatory. Key Skills
