About the Opportunity Rapidly growing Ophthalmology practice in Annapolis seeks an Optometrist to join our collaborative team. The practice is dedicated to providing excellent patient care and education on a wide range of ocular concerns and possesses a keen focus on the management and care of Cataracts and Glaucoma. We are searching for a self-motivated, energetic, creative, and dependable individual with prior experience in a medical setting treating ocular conditions. The ideal candidate will have strong written and oral communication skills, basic computer skills, and the drive and ambition to grow with our practice as a key member of our dynamic team. Requirements This position requires skills pertaining to: Performing a complete dilated fundus exam Diagnosing and coordinating treatment for ocular diseases, including but not limited to: Cataracts, Glaucoma, Dry Eye, Blepharitis, Retinopathy Prescription drug treatments for ocular conditions. Providing clear written and verbal instructions to patients and their families/caretakers Proficiency with Medical Coding (CPT/ICD10) Proficiency interpreting results of Disc Photos, Retina Photos, Visual Fields Basic Computer Skills Customer Service Skills Staff Relations and Delegation Flexibility in Schedule Job Type:
