Description Assess patients across both inpatient and outpatient settings while crafting personalized treatment strategies Deliver therapeutic interventions that enhance mobility, strength, balance, and overall function Work alongside nurses, physicians, case managers, and rehabilitation specialists to optimize patient outcomes Guide patients and their families in understanding therapeutic objectives, discharge plans, and at-home exercises Keep detailed records of assessments, treatments, and patient progress in compliance with facility policies and regulations Engage in interdisciplinary care team meetings to ensure comprehensive and coordinated patient care Education

Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) or similar degree from an accredited institution Certifications

Licensed to practice as a

Physical Therapist

in the state CPR certification is preferred Specialized certifications such as neurological or geriatric care are advantageous but not mandatory Skills

Prior experience is highly desirable Adeptness in treating patients with complex medical and mobility challenges Excellent communication and collaboration abilities Proficiency in digital documentation and electronic health record systems Benefits
