$22.80 - $29.64/hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: Join our dedicated team at UCHealth as a Lead Sterile Processing Technician where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring high standards of sterile processing across our department. In this leadership position, you will not only utilize your advanced knowledge but also inspire and mentor team members to achieve excellence in their roles. Key Responsibilities: Assist in developing, implementing, and evaluating departmental policies and procedures to enhance operational efficiency. Provide mentorship and coaching to team members, focusing on productivity and quality management while fostering a collaborative work environment. Coordinate services, prioritize assignments, and promote effective problem-solving strategies among team members. Take an active role in ordering supplies, monitoring staff performance, and ensuring adherence to quality metrics. Handle complex issues with confidence and support team members in making critical decisions. Requirements: High School diploma or GED. Certification as a CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician). Minimum of 2 years of experience in sterile processing.
