$22.80 - $29.64 / hour. Pay is dependent on applicant's relevant experience Summary: As the Lead Sterile Processing Technician, you will be an integral part of our team, guiding your colleagues with your advanced expertise. Your leadership will help ensure the safe and efficient processing of sterile instruments, pivotal in delivering top-notch patient care. Responsibilities: Assist in the creation, implementation, and evaluation of departmental policies and procedures. Mentor, monitor, coach, and evaluate team members' performance, enhancing productivity and quality management. Coordinate services, prioritize assignments and workflows, and promote effective problem-solving within the team. Assist in ordering department supplies and monitoring staff productivity and quality metrics. Perform the roles of the underlying job, guiding team members in handling complex or unusual issues. Utilize critical thinking and independent decision-making skills to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Requirements: Minimum Required Education:

High School diploma or GED. Preferred: Medical Terminology course. Required Licensure/Certification:

Certified as a CSPDT (Certified Sterile Processing and Distribution Technician) or CRCST (Certified Registered Central Service Technician). Preferred: Additional certifications like Certified Healthcare Leader (CHL), Certified Instrument Specialist (CIS), or Certified Endoscope Reprocessor (CER) by HSPA or CBSPD equivalent. Minimum Experience:
