Reports To:
Dental Manager Schedule: Full time, Sunday availability preferred Position Summary: The Patient Escort plays a vital role in maintaining a smooth patient experience within the dental department. This role involves greeting and escorting patients, monitoring patient flow, and assisting with preparation for appointments. The ideal candidate is courteous, organized, and attentive to operational flow in a fast-paced clinical environment.
Key Responsibilities: Greet patients with a warm, professional demeanor
Escort patients to assigned treatment rooms in a timely manner
Monitor room availability and coordinate transitions between appointments
Remain aware of daily schedule and adjust as needed for last-minute changes
Prepare patient cases prior to appointments as instructed
Communicate with providers and clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
Maintain compliance with the organization’s standards, policies, and procedures
Report any conduct or event that may violate legal or compliance guidelines
Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent
Prior experience in a healthcare or dental setting preferred
Friendly and respectful interpersonal skills
Strong sense of punctuality and teamwork
Ability to stand, walk, and escort patients for extended periods
Must comply fully with all compliance, privacy, and conduct policies
