Under the supervision of a registered nurse (RN), you will deliver resident-centered nursing care and assist with daily living activities according to care plans. Your responsibilities will include: Providing personal care such as bathing, grooming, and dressing Assisting with mobility, including transferring and repositioning residents Taking vital signs and documenting resident interactions Communicating any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff Assisting with meal preparation and providing a positive dining experience Maintaining cleanliness of living areas Encouraging resident participation in wellness and recreational programs Qualifications A high school diploma or GED is preferred, but not mandatory. Candidates must be at least 16 years old. Previous nursing assistant experience in long-term care is preferred. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) from the State Board of Nursing is required or must be obtained within four months of hire. Our facility will provide training and assistance in obtaining certification. Ongoing education and competency testing are mandatory to maintain qualifications. This position may require you to drive, depending on specific duties, necessitating a valid drivers license and a clean driving record.
