Must-Have: - Invasive hemodynamic monitoring experience - IV drip titration skills - Knowledge of burn fluid resuscitation following the Parkland formula - Ventilator management experience - Competency in continuous venous-venous hemofiltration (CVVH) - Ability to perform initial debridement and dressing changes - Experience in conscious sedation and surgical recovery - Proficiency with epidural pumps

Description: Seeking an experienced RN for an adult and pediatric burn trauma surgical ICU. The nursing care model is based on primary RN care. Nursing care ratios are 1:2 for critical care patients. 1:1 nursing care support is provided for burn trauma code 1 admissions and high acuity and post-operative patients. Invasive hemodynamic monitoring is required at least once every hour. IV drip titration is essential in this role. Nurse-driven burn fluid resuscitation will follow the Parkland formula. Ventilator management and CVVH are important responsibilities. Hourly pulse and flap Doppler checks are part of the duties. The nurse will perform initial debridement and dressing changes as needed. Conscious sedation and surgical recovery for patients are required tasks. Proficiency in managing epidural pumps is necessary. The unit cares for patients experiencing a range of burn injuries, including flame, scald, electrical, chemical burns, inhalation injuries, necrotic ischemia, and necrotizing fasciitis throughout the continuum of care.
