Provide comprehensive nursing care to expectant mothers during labor, delivery, and postpartum recovery. Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health, administering medications and interventions as needed. Assist obstetricians and midwives during delivery, ensuring a smooth, safe, and patient-centered birthing experience. Educate and support mothers and their families on postnatal care, breastfeeding, and newborn care. Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a fast-paced environment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and ensure compliance with hospital policies and regulations. Candidate requirements
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) required. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience in labor and delivery or maternal care. Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications are required, and all certifications must be American Heart Association (AHA) accredited. Certification in Inpatient Obstetric Nursing (RNC-OB) or Maternal Newborn Nursing (RNC-MNN) is preferred.
