Job Description

The

Phlebotomist III - Float

represents the face of our company to patients who visit us as part of their health maintenance or for life-impacting health insights. This role is responsible for drawing quality blood specimens from patients and preparing them for lab testing while adhering to established protocols.

This is a

multi-location floater role , supporting a variety of work settings and responsibilities. The Phlebotomist III - Float will ensure that daily activities at

Patient Service Centers (PSC), Mobile sites, Long-Term Care (LTC) facilities, and In-Office Phlebotomy (IOP)

locations are completed accurately and efficiently.

Applicants must demonstrate leadership capabilities and be able to guide, mentor, and train new employees. This role also includes onboarding new clients, serving as a point of contact for staff, and collaborating across multiple departments such as Sales, Laboratory Testing Services, IT, Billing, and Logistics.

Key Responsibilities Perform quality blood draws with a high degree of patient care and precision. Prepare specimens for transport and lab analysis. Provide coverage at various locations, adapting to multiple phlebotomy roles. Guide and lead daily activity at assigned sites. Mentor, train, and support new employees and onboarding clients. Act as liaison and support for on-site staff, providing feedback to leads and supervisors. Engage with high-complexity clients requiring excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional service delivery. Handle multiple high-priority tasks in fast-paced settings. Required Education

High school diploma or equivalent (required) Medical training such as

Medical Assistant

or

Paramedic

preferred Phlebotomy certification preferred ;

required in California, Nevada, and Washington Work Experience

Minimum

5 years

of phlebotomy experience including pediatric, geriatric, and capillary collections Minimum

3 years

in a

PSC/IOP

environment preferred Prior experience in

customer service , especially in retail or service environments, preferred Keyboard/data entry
