Job Duties Create Tailored Therapeutic Plans: Assess patient needs and design specific therapy strategies that support their journey towards functional improvement. Implement Evidence-Based Interventions: Apply best practices to boost patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and everyday living tasks. Engage with Multidisciplinary Teams: Work closely with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to ensure cohesive and comprehensive patient care. Educate Patients and Caregivers: Provide guidance to patients and their families on therapy techniques to facilitate ongoing success at home. Track Progress and Adjust Treatment: Monitor clinical progress and modify treatment plans as necessary, ensuring patients remain aligned with their goals. Requirements
A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program Continuing education and advanced certifications are encouraged and supported Certifications
Valid
Occupational Therapist (OTR/L)
license Certification from the
NBCOT
