Job Description Equiliem is seeking a local contract nurse RN Labor and Delivery for a local contract nursing job in Elizabeth, New Jersey. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Labor and Delivery Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/15/2025 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, days, nights Employment Type: Local Contract Manager interview Patient Ratio: 1:1 w/ 2nd stage labor and C/S circulating and post-anesthesia stage 1, 1:3-4 in triage (agency not usually assigned in triage but may be asked to assist with charge RN), Early labor 1:2-3, Active labor 1:2 1.5 years of experience required Travel pairs are not accepted Every other weekend required; Must work Labor Day and 1 winter holiday BLS, ACLS, NRP, FHM Intermediate Level required May float to Mother/Baby No block scheduling Locals accepted NJ RN license required upon start Special Requirements: Antepartum care (Use of EFM, assist with sterile speculum exam, NSTS, and OCTs); External fetal monitoring, use of IUPC, and recognition and treatment of abnormal fetal heart rate patterns; Strong exp with IVs (No PICC lines); Managing and administering antihypertensives, magnesium sulfate therapy, Pitocin, and pain medications; Circulate for c-section required, scrub for c-section highly pref; Neonatal Care in Delivery Room Hospital Highlights Type of Facility: Level 2 L 1000 deliveries annually Total Staffed Beds: 7 LDRs, 2 ORs, 3 bed L&D triage, and 20 bed Mother-Baby Unit Scrub Color: Provided Charting System: AllScripts Sunrise Clinical Manager (SCM); Client Centricity Fetal Surveillance and Documentation system Parking Cost: Varies based on parking structure
