The Department of Pediatrics at the University of Illinois College of Medicine, in partnership with OSF HealthCare Children's Hospital of Illinois is committed to delivering exceptional healthcare services to children in Central Illinois. A Pediatric Rheumatologist at our Peoria campus will be part of a large pediatric group providing ambulatory and inpatient care to pediatric patients with rheumatologic illnesses. There are opportunities to partner with the adult Rheumatologist at OSF Saint Francis Hospital and build collaborative partnerships with other children's hospitals in Illinois. Position Summary
Pediatric Rheumatologist to provide ambulatory and inpatient care to pediatric patients with rheumatologic illnesses at the Children's Hospital of Illinois.
Duties & Responsibilities
Provide acute and ongoing consultative care to children that have rheumatologic illnesses in both the hospital and outpatient settings. Participate in education and training programs for medical students and residents and fellows in the Department of Pediatrics Participate in Collaborative research activities of the Division of Rheumatology and department Perform other duties of a university faculty member including committee assignments, curriculum development and student counseling. Perform other related duties and participate in special projects as assigned. Minimum Qualifications
MD/DO Eligible for Illinois licensure BC/BE Pediatrics and/or Pediatric Rheumatology
