Your Key Responsibilities Perform thorough patient assessments, including physical examinations and in-depth reviews of medical histories Assist in the evaluation and diagnosis of surgical conditions through analysis of imaging studies and laboratory results Work closely with surgeons to develop and implement customized surgical treatment plans for patients Provide essential intraoperative support, from preparing operating rooms to ensuring proper patient positioning and efficiently handling surgical instruments during procedures Offer exceptional pre-operative and post-operative care, encompassing medication administration, wound care, discharge planning, and patient education Education Requirements
A Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program is essential Completion of clinical rotations with an emphasis on surgery is strongly preferred Necessary Certifications
Active and unrestricted
PA-C
certification BLS
and
ACLS
certifications are mandatory State licensure (or eligibility) as a Physician Assistant Preferred Skills
