Job Responsibilities Conduct thorough assessments of patients, including comprehensive physical examinations and careful analysis of medical histories Assist in diagnosing surgical conditions by interpreting imaging studies and lab results Collaborate closely with surgeons to develop tailored surgical treatment plans Provide critical intraoperative support by preparing operating rooms, ensuring patient safety, and accurately handling surgical instruments Deliver outstanding pre- and post-operative care that includes administering medications, managing wounds, and educating patients on their recovery Education Requirements
Master's degree from an accredited Physician Assistant program Completion of surgical (or surgical-related) clinical rotations is highly preferred Certifications Needed
Current and unrestricted
PA-C
certification BLS
and
ACLS
certifications are required State licensure (or eligibility) to practice as a Physician Assistant Desired Skills
