About this Role:
The role of the Fiscal Administrative Support Analyst is to act as a key coordinator between the CFO and other departmental programs to manage correspondence, special projects and meeting schedules effectively and ensure accuracy, professionalism, and adherence to departmental policies in all communications. Evaluate all materials submitted to the CFO for policy consistency, completeness, clarity, and proper format. Maintain high standards for grammar and content quality. The analyst will organize and coordinate Fiscal meetings, including developing agendas, documenting minutes and distributing action items to ensure follow-through and accountability. Independently determine appropriate program/manager assignments for inquiries and/or issues, maintain tracking systems for assignments and deadlines and follow up to ensure timely completion. The analyst will manage the CFO’s calendar by scheduling appointments and meetings, preparing briefing packets and ensuring logistical arrangements such as travel and accommodations comply with departmental policy. Draft and review correspondence in response to inquiries from public and government representatives at all levels.

The incumbent will work in a professional office setting stationed at DHCS’s headquarters in what is known as the East End Complex (EEC).
