IT Architect

Job Summary: Supervises, guides, and/or instructs the work assignments of subordinate staff. Assists in planning, scheduling of team resources, status reporting, and completion of required documentation for team assignments and projects. Analyzes and develops work or project plans for team assignments. Implements solutions to problems associated with assignments. Responsible for project leadership: coordinates system integrity, facilitates communication and project structure between users of Information Services and third-party vendors or programmers, provides systems and installation support, and user training. Develops and manages project schedules and responsibilities. Participates in software development, systems design, analysis, and project planning and management. Location and Contract Details: Long-term contract in Atlanta, GA. Local candidates only. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, or related field from an accredited college or university. Ten years of experience in system analysis, design, development, and relationship management. Additional Requirements: Understanding of software development principles and methodologies across multiple platforms. Proficiency in various programming languages. Experience with cloud providers like AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud. Knowledge of database design, data modeling, DevOps, CI/CD, and security principles. Familiarity with architectural styles and design patterns. Expertise in test automation tools. Soft Skills: Effective communication, problem-solving, leadership, adaptability, stakeholder management, time management, teamwork, critical thinking, and continuous learning. Required Skills and Experience: Software development across multiple platforms (e.g., .NET, Java, R) - 10 years. JavaScript and UI frameworks (Kendo UI, AngularJS, React, jQuery, HTML5, Bootstrap) - 10 years. Web application deployment and debugging - 10 years. Web services design and development - 7 years. GIT and TFS - 5 years. Database development with MS SQL and Oracle, including PL/SQL and T-SQL - highly desired, 7 years. Client-side object models for SharePoint - highly desired, 7 years.
