Primary Purpose: The Deposit Operations Exceptions Specialist is responsible for the proper handling and completion of all activity relating to daily exception items. Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
(Majority of duties performed, but not meant to be all inclusive or to prevent other duties from being assigned) Load checking/savings paper items into the Exception Item Processing system Post/Return rejected ACH and Check debit/credit items Work ACH and Stop Pay Hit reports Chargeback Return Deposited Items via the IS Returns system Make GL entries based on pay/return decisions Monitor request received via OnBase Balance daily work Answer questions via phone or email from branches relating to exception items Assist with balancing Recon GL accounts Meet daily deadlines Special projects as required Travel for training as needed

(knowledge, skills, and abilities normally required for competent performance in the job) Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft 365 Performs job functions accurately, completely, and in a timely manner Work in fast paced environment Strict attention to details and thoroughness in the completion of job responsibilities Exhibits excellent verbal and written communication skills Ability to prioritize assignments to meet deadlines and achieve Strong analytical and problem solving skills Fosters a positive team environment Work overtime as needed
