Industrial Maintenance Mechanic - 2nd Shift

Are you a skilled tradesperson looking to make a difference? As an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic, you will play a crucial role in our production operations by ensuring the smooth functionality of machinery and equipment. Your expertise in maintenance will be essential for maintaining high product quality and optimizing production efficiency. Key Responsibilities: Strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring the use of appropriate PPE and safety equipment. Examine and operate machine controls to facilitate changeovers and production needs. Conduct routine preventive maintenance on all production equipment and machinery. Repair mechanical components and replace parts such as bearings, filters, and wiring. Identify mechanical issues through observation and auditory inspection of devices in operation. Dismantle equipment to access and replace defective parts. Adjust functional parts and control instruments to ensure optimal machine performance. Inspect used parts for changes in dimensional requirements to maintain production standards. Lubricate and clean machinery to uphold preventive maintenance protocols. Record and track maintenance activities including changeover times. Complete all work orders with a focus on safety, minimizing downtime, reducing scrap, and enhancing overall efficiency. To thrive in this role, candidates should possess: A High School Diploma or GED 3-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting, or equivalent training and experience Knowledge of maintenance and repair techniques for waxers, scroll shears, and Cone Top presses Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as manuals, schematics, and blueprints Experience using precision measuring devices like amp meters and hydraulic gauges Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work well in various situations Basic mathematical skills for calculations such as addition, subtraction, and working with fractions A professional demeanor and a strong sense of personal responsibility At Mauser Packaging Solutions, we are dedicated to sustainability and invite individuals who want to be part of a team that prioritizes innovation and environmental stewardship.
